Hamilton Snatches win away from Clark!
Justin Clark has looked to be the dominant modified so far in 2026. Picking up a feature win already, he has appeared to be the only car capable of beating Matt Hamilton on the track. He looked like he was going to pick up his second feature win of the year leading much of the Diamond Heavy Haul Modified Feature over Hamilton. As the laps wound down, Hamilton kept it close and made some moves but could not find the grip to get around Clark. As the leaders approached slower traffic, Clark had to change his line and that allowed Hamilton to slide underneath and grab the lead with just a couple laps remaining. What appeared to be an almost certain win for Clark, turned into a big win for Hamilton, his first of the year. Clark held on to second followed by David Stremme, Brad Goff, and Ryan Thomas. Heat race winners were Hamilton and Clark. The Diamond Heavy Haul Modifieds return to Lawrenceburg on June 13th.
McRoberts puts another win on his total in Pro Stock!
Will McRoberts cannot be denied in an Impact Sport Pro Stock. Just when it appeared his son Eli may finally pick up his first career feature win, Eli’s motor let go, and it turned the lead over to his dad Will. Once Will gets in front, it’s pretty much a done deal. Skyler Cohee, Jason Heaston finished second and third followed by Don Grace who finished 4th and Donnie Wilson 5th. Don Grace won the heat race. The Impact Sports Modifieds return to Lawrenceburg on Saturday May 16th.
