Lawrenceburg Speedway
2025 Champions Honored
Lawrenceburg Speedway recently honored their 2025 class champions and special award winners. Nick Snell captured his 2nd track championship in as many years in the modified division for team owner Bill Patterson. Snell was the definition of consistency with 7 top five finishes in all 7 races. Following Snell in the top 5 were Matt Hamilton, Jason Whitaker, Joe Smith and Cory Skipton.
Will McRoberts had another dominating year in the Impact Sports Pro Stock class and cruised to another track championship after winning 6 out of 7 features. Ashton Cohee had a strong rookie season with 5 top five finishes which led to a 2nd place finish in the point standings along with Rookie of the Year. Eli McRoberts, Dylan Chase and Corbin McHenry rounded out the top 5.
Chevy Gibson won the Lawrence Motorsports Trailer Sales Hornets track championship with a strong year featuring one win and 7 top five finishes. Landon Ramirez finished a close second while Alex West, Cordell Moore and Joshua Lainhart rounded out the top five. Aden Carson was honored as the Rookie of the Year after finishing 8th in points and recording 5 top 10 finishes.
Long time racer, Ed Johnson, brought home the Crown Vic Championship with 4 top five finishes and 5 top ten finishes in 6 events. AJ Clark came in second followed by Ryan McCracken, Geremy Hays and Anna Hensley. Anna Hensley was awarded the Rookie of the Year after a strong debut season.
Pro Stock Driver Adam Jones was honored with the Sportsman of the Year award based on his contributions to racing and his positivity toward the sport of racing. Not only does Adam have the coolest car around, he is always interacting with race fans. Adam is constantly looking for ways to positively affect the race fans and their overall experience. We are blessed to have a driver like Adam at the Burg.
