Bibent Dominates the Dick Gaines Memorial and Track Champions Crowned
Bibent Wins Dick Gaines Memorial!
Saban Bibent won his first sprint car feature at Lawrenceburg Speedway a few years ago. Since that first win, Bibent has not found the success he thought he would have or he deserved. Through ups and downs, Bibent continued to push forward and work on getting better. He showed up to run the Dick Gaines Memorial and quickly showed as one of the fastest Sprint Cars. He qualified first in his group and won his heat race in dominating fashion. He would climb from his car after winning his heat race thinking he had a mechanical failure on his car. Luckily it was a simple fix, and he brought the car out for the feature. Bibent started on the outside of the front row and grabbed the lead on the opening lap. Bibent would not look back. He led the entire race with the race going green to checkers without any cautions. Shawn Westerfeld ran second followed by Max Adams, Cale Coons, and Ryan Barr. Heat race winners were Joss Moffatt and Matt Cooley and Saban Bibent.

Freeman and Josh Tidwell were battling for the lead when contact caused Tidwell and crash in turn 3 ending his night. It looked like Freeman would be the car to beat until Hutson beat him back to the line for the feature win. Heat race winners were Pete Holt, Carson Freeman, and Casey Ulm.
McCoy Grabs Hornet Feature Win and Gibson Wins Championship!
