McRoberts Opens Season with Win!
Will McRoberts led all 12 laps in the Impact Sports Pro Stock Feature on his way to picking up a feature win at Lawrenceburg Speedway on Saturday night. McRoberts beat his son Eli McRoberts in the feature followed by Ashton Cohee, Kody Buerkley, and Corbin McHenry. The heat race saw exciting action between Will and Eli (Father and son) with father besting his son to take the heat race win. The Impact Sports Pro Stocks return to the track on Saturday April 26th.
Corbin Dalton Starts Last but Finishes First!
Corbin Dalton had one of the quickest Lawrence Motorsports Trailer Sales Hornets all night long. He ran second in his heat race, but drew the pole for the redraw. Unfortunately, They had a problem with the car battery and had to start from the tail because of it. He started last in the 21-car feature field and methodically worked his way to the front. Several cautions allowed him to keep the leaders within sight. Problems for the track champ, Cordell Moore, forced him to retire, turning the lead over to Jacob Todd. Todd looked like he was going to hold on for the win, but Dalton found a way around Todd coming to the white flag and beat Todd back to the line to grab the win. Todd finished second followed by Landon Ramirez, Chevy Gibson and Ryan Paciocco. Heat race winners were Cordell Moore, David Applegate and Chevy Gibson. The Lawrence Motorsports Trailer Sales Hornets return to the track on Saturday April 26th.
