Bilbee takes the Dick Gaines Memorial

Bilbee Wins Dick Gaines Memorial!

Nick Bilbee made a last lap, last corner pass when race leader Luke Hall slipped in turn 3 allowing the multi-time Lawrenceburg Speedway Track Champion to grab the lead and win the coveted Dick Gaines Memorial. Hall appeared to have the race well in hand when he slid high in turn 3 coming to the checkered flag which allowed Nick Bilbee to slip underneath him for the win. Luke Hall finished second followed by Shawn Westerfeld, Austin Nigh, and Joss Moffatt. Heat race winners were Shawn Westerfeld, and Kale Drake. The Kelsey Chevrolet Sprint Cars return to Lawrenceburg on September 7th where the championship will be decided between Nick Bilbee, Garrett
Abrams and Shawn Westerfeld. 90 points separate the top 3 spots headed into the final night.

Eric Shephard Jr. Wins Sport Mod feature!

Eric Shephard won the Sport Modified Feature at Lawrenceburg. Shephard took the green flag from the outside of the front row. Shephard battled with Zach Carr and Pete Holt before securing the lead and holding on to win the first Sport Modified feature of the year. Heat race winners were Zach Carr, Austin Horn, Pete Holt and Eric Shephard Jr.. Chris Kruetzkamp won the B main. 31 Sport Modifieds were on hand to compete for the
only Sport Modified race scheduled for the 2024 racing season.

Gibson Sr. Dominates Pure stock Feature!

Jerry Gibson Sr. led all 15 laps in The Impact Sports Pure stocks Feature race at Lawrenceburg. Joel Andrews came from last place after having to start at the tail for winning the 2 previous features to finish in the runner up spot followed by Danny Eichler, John Heaston and Gary Hume. The lone heat race winner was Jerry Gibson,Sr. The Impact Sports Pure stocks have two races remaining with 3-time track champion Joel Andrews holding a 280 point advantage going into the final 2 races of the year.

Cordell Moore Wins Hornet Feature!

Cordell Moore battled with Ryan Paciocco for the feature win in the Lawrence
Motorsports Trailer Sales Hornets feature. Moore and Paciocco bounced off each other before Moore was able to grab the lead and hold on. Paciocco finished second followed by Kenny Stewart, Kevin McCoy, and Christopher Meyer. Heat race winners were Kevin McCoy, Cordell Moore, and Landon Ramirez. The Lawrence Motorsports Trailer Sales Hornets return to the track on August 24 th for the Hornet Nationals. The Championship will be decided on September 7 th . Cordell Moore is the current point leader by 135
points over Ryan Paciocco with 2 events remaining.

Clark Grabs Crown Vic Win When Leader Has Flat Tire!

Troy Clark and Kyle Call raced for the lead throughout the Crown Vic Feature at Lawrenceburg. Call had secured the lead and appeared to be heading for the feature win until the right rear tire blew on his car coming to the white flag. Troy Clark grabbed the lead and went on to win the feature. The rest of the top five were Brandon Carver, Jacob Kruetzkamp, Mark Hall and Nick Stecht. Call limped to the checkered flag finishing a disappointing 9 th . Heat race winners were Brandon Carver and Troy Clark.
