Leary Wins King of The Midwest Sprints!
The 2013 Lawrenceburg Speedway Track Champion was back to show his dominance. CJ Leary took over the lead early on from pole sitter Garrett Abrams and never looked back. He ran away from the field for his 7th career victory at Lawrenceburg. Good racing went on behind Leary as the likes of Thomas Meseraull, Jarrett Andretti, and Nick Bilbee raced behind him. Meseraull, who won the last feature, finished second, followed by Nick Bilbee, Jarrett Andretti, and Landon Simon. Heat race winners were Leary, Abrams, and Meseraull. Meseraull is the early championship leader for the chase for the Kelsey Chevrolet Sprint car championship. The Sprint cars return to Lawrenceburg next Saturday night, May 9th.

Hamilton finished second, followed by Broc Burton, Weasel Rhoades, and David Spille. Heat race winners were Butron, Kramer, and Matt Hamilton. David Spille leads the Budweiser UMP Modifieds point’s standings. The Modifieds race again on Saturday, May 9th.
Will McRoberts wins second in a row!
Will McRoberts dominated for the second race in a row on his way to winning the Impact Sports Pure Stocks feature at Lawrenceburg. McRoberts started from the pole and never looked back. Scott Hensely finished second. The 3 time defending champion, Scott Hensley has not been able to keep up with McRoberts the last 2 races, so the battle for the championship could be taking shape between McRoberts and Hensley. The rest of the top 5 were Joel Andrews, Houston Roark and Jeff Litchfield. Heat race winners were Joel Andrews, Jeff Litchfield, and Will McRoberts. Scott Hensley leads the Impact Sports Pure Stocks points early on in the season. The Pure Stocks will be back on Saturday May 9th.
Defending Champ, Roark does it again!

The young man from Dupont won for the 7th time overall and first time this year. He is currently looking to defend his championship and he may have to race his older brother Andrew for the title. Tim Baird ran a strong second, followed by Andrew Roark, and TJ Dalton. Heat race winners were Baird, Tyler McGhee, Kendall Eberhart Jr., and Andrew Roark. Dallas Smith won the B main. Andrew Roark is the point leader for the Bessler’s U Pull N Save Hornets, and they will return to the track next Saturday.
