Andrew Roark wins first Race!
Dupont, Indiana’s Andrew Roark was in the shadows of his little brother Dalton who dominated the Bessler’s U Pull N save Hornet class last year en route to the track championship. Andrew was off to a fast 2015 start and was leading the points entering this night of racing but the first feature win had alluded him. Andrew would take the green flag 6th but work his way to the front quickly to battle for the lead. 5 cars battled for the lead when Andrew put the car to the outside line and passed Tim Baird for the lead. Once Andrew got the lead, the fans knew it would be hard to get around him and deny him a win again. Andrew’s brother Dalton, last week’s feature winner started 10th, was working his way to the front and took second with just a couple laps to go. When the white flag flew, it was a battle of brothers. Dalton tried to go low on Andrew but Andrew was able to beat him back to the checkered flag for his first career feature win. Dalton ran second followed by Drew Thiel, Jason Borgemenke, and rookie Matthew Morris. Heat race winners were Drew Thiel, Tim Baird, and Dalton Roark. Chad Ackman won the B Main.
